I’m a recent graduate of The City College of New York, where I studied Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising. Through storytelling, I aim to build authentic connections between athletes and the communities that they inspire!

Humanizing Sports

My Story Telling Philosophy

More than just competition, sports have the power to unite people, tell stories, and create lasting connections. It's this shared culture; the cheers, the rivalries, the moments captured on and off the field, and the personalities plus traditions behind the athletes, that fuels my passion for sports media. I've come to appreciate how every sport builds its own community, culture, and passion that drives storytelling.

As the digital landscape continues to evolve, I am motivated to stay ahead of emerging trends and contribute to how audiences engage, leveraging strategic communication to strengthen emotional connections within the sports community. Social media, in particular, has transformed how we experience sports and athletes. It allows audiences to see beyond the competition, connecting with the authenticity, humor, and relatability that make athletes more than just public figures.

I aspire to be part of the creative process that drives these connections, developing strategies that inspire, engage, and build relatability while helping athletes elevate their personal brands. As consumers, we often view athletes as superheroes, but the moments that truly resonate are the ones that reveal how much they are just like us.

While my passion lies in sports, these same principles apply across all areas of branding and storytelling. I am inspired by how authentic, human centered communication can shape perception, foster loyalty, and create lasting impact on and off the field.

Academic Resume

I'm a proud Latina first-generation college graduate with a strong passion for crafting authentic, witty, and engaging stories around sports and athletes. I'm actively seeking internship opportunities where I can continue growing alongside industry professionals across branding, social media, photography, and video production.

When I relocated to New York City, I've was intentional about immersing myself in the sports landscape while building a well-rounded foundation at The City College of New York. My work with CCNY's Athletic Department allowed me to develop a versatile skill set: capturing and editing game-day content, writing athlete profiles, conducting interviews, and creating engaging social media content. Each experience strengthened my commitment to creativity and growth as a communicator. I also had the privilege of serving as a game-day intern with the New York Giants on their Corporate Partnerships team for the 2025–26 NFL season, where I learned the operations behind bringing in new sponsors, conducting walkthroughs for tailgate setups, and assisting alumni to and from fan locations. This experience taught me the value of professionalism within the sports industry.

Since graduating, I've relocated back to California and am working with the San Francisco 49ers as an Events Associate on the Fan Engagement team. This role has given me a more direct, people-facing perspective, where I've learned the value of clear communication and genuine warmth in fan activation efforts. Not a single event has gone by without a meaningful moment, hearing a fan's story or seeing what the team means to them and their family. Between the corporate side in New York and this fan-facing role in San Francisco, I've genuinely loved seeing both perspectives of the industry.

Through my coursework in Communications, I've gained hands on experience drafting media releases, conducting campaign research, developing brand guidelines, and presenting strategic communication proposals — work that's equipped me to navigate today's media landscape both academically and within the CCNY’s athletic department.

Looking ahead, I'm motivated to stay ahead of shifting trends in sports culture and adapt my storytelling to connect with modern audiences. I want to work with organizations that value authentic, relatable content - the kind that doesn't just inform, but brings people from different walks of life together!
